Who am I ?

I'm a French student, 23 years old, in Oslo, for the moment, and in Paris, at ECE in general. I was born in the French mountains, near the "Mt Blanc", that's why I don't like Paris, and why I like the Norway country.

I'm such a geek, I am on my computer most of my time, I'm tactful (unnoticeable) and I tend to be lonesome (like Lucky Luke). I'm passionated by Computer Science, maths, football, rugby, footing, skying (and lots of sport indeed) and also by Japanese animation, manga, and culture.

I'm running a Gentoo Linux distribution on my computer, a FreeBSD system on my dedicated server (here indeed), and a Windows OS in a vmware image that I don't really use. I have a strong feeling about Open source, I'm a fan and I'm an open-source evangelist for my friends.

I'm also called a developer, but in the end, I'll be an engineer or something like that. I want to develop and I want to develop Free Software. I also want a open web and not the bullshit marketing social web 2.0 web we have now. I use primary Python for developing (anything) and Java with fileflow, but I also like C/C++, .NET (mono) and well, lots of misc. stuff you don't care about.

Why Shortbrain ?

First, Shortbrain means what it mean in this sentence "he is a short brain" [1]. It's the end of my web road. I've make several website, several attempt to construct something on the web, but in the end anything failed. Each time I wasn't happy with what I've done and I deleted everything. This is the last attempt, and short brain is what I am.

What is this website about ?

It's a personal website, so the content is mainly personal (my links, etc..). It's most about my experiences, in computers sciences, and about anything indeed.

You'll see article about Python, Django, Web technologies (W3C, or else), Java, Linux, Gentoo, FreeBSD, open-source, some editors (Eclipse, Emacs, ..), and well anything indeed.
